What an amazing man. Jim lived an extraordinary life, full of love and laughter. No words to express how grateful we are to have shared a small part of this. No more tears, just wonderful memories. Rest now our beloved friend. Remembering you with all our love.

Words cannot express the pain us down here in this little place called Dinwiddie County are feeling right now. You filled us all with laughter & smiles. You've been around for many years, teaching us all how to be a great rider. I've known you since i was little. Not only have you taught me how to ride, but you taught me how to be tough, get the job done, & everything there is to know about horses. Thank you so much for your knowledge. I love you with all of my heart....

My deepest sympathies go out to Tommy and the Reedy Creek family. When I first started riding in Brooklyn, NY Jimmy gave me my 1st riding lesson. He was a great friend and mentor. He was quite the colorful character and made riding horses so much fun.

God bless your soul Jim. Thank you for being a great influence in my life. You were my teacher at Dewey Jr. High School and also my first riding instructor! I will always remember when you use to say, the horse jerked and the jerk fell off!

Jimmy helped turn my crush on horses into a life long love affair. Thank you Jimmy for pushing me harder and farther than I ever thought I could (or wanted to) go. Thank you for turning my fears into accomplishments.

Hard to find words to encompass everything that Jim meant to so many people. Like so many others, the barn was my second home growing up, and though I had loving parents at home, I probably spent more time with him than my own father. Thanks for all the memories and life lessons. May we all remember to shake the dirt off and get back on.
