James "Chip" Brown
February 11, 2022
I worked with Jim during my round of student teaching, all the way back in 1988. He always extended himself to me and made sure I was invited to participate in the experiences available at the school. We even road-tripped to Lock Haven together for a fun weekend, it was great to watch him reminisce. Sandra, Matt, and Tracy, I remember you having me to your home for a very hearty and welcoming home cooked meal. I've never forgotten that kind of generosity. Given that we have not spoken in 44 years, I'd say that's a testament to being an unforgettable person. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Condolences to Mr. Cunningham's family. Mr. Cunningham was one of my favorite and influential teachers. I loved his classes at Pennsbury High School for Black Studies and Native American Studies. I know he helped shape generations of children. The world will miss such a wonderful person. May his spirit journey well.

Mr. Cunningham will be dearly missed! I have so many fond memories of being PSU’s 1997 prom committee co-chair with Matt under Mr. Cunningham’s leadership. You all are in my thoughts and I wish you a lifetime of wonderful memories.

Jim was one of the most awesome friends one could have. I treasure the years we worked together, the trips he asked me to chaperone with him and those wonderful prom days. The world surely lost one of the good ones when he was called home by God.

Jim was devoted to his family, to his church, and most importantly, to the Savior he so richly served...I was happy to see his faith in action every Sunday. To Sandy, Matt, Tracy and family, my deepest condolences...absent from body but present with Jesus.
