I remember so many great days and nights as a youngster hanging around your house with my parents and your's. The Hall-of-Fame group of your dad, my dad, Charlie Barca, Don Scott, etc, was unmatched. Hanging around with the crew on the golf course, in the bar, playing dice (ship/captain/and crew, in particular), the horse races, the Wrinkles Group, ALL great lifetime memories for me. I worked with Jim at the the old Central on Greenwich when he was Sgt. Curran. I'll never forget the night his son Jimmy was born and we had to wait for Jim to call in - no pics or cell phones in those days. He was 'a bit' late calling in and by the time I talked to him on the ring in phone, his son was already born, at home, and on his way to the hospital. It was kind of frantic for him that night and he was in a daze. A nice guy and a wonderful boss, Always a gentleman.

LeAnne and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Every memory and thought of Jim makes me smile. Cherish your memories, celebrate him often, he will live forever in the hearts of us that knew him. I am sure my dad, Bill Taylor, had a nice big adult sized cocktail waiting for him in the big bar that is heaven :) All of The Taylors send you their love and will keep you in our prayers, and will play Jim's lucky numbers in our lotto picks.
