Curran Family,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Writing on behalf of my mother and siblings, I want you to know that our family loved Mr. Curran. He had a funny quip and an easy smile whenever we would see him.

My lasting memory of Mr. Curran occurred in my teen years when Tim and I were working summer jobs in the Capitol complex area. One afternoon, while we were waiting for a ride home and leaning against a four-story building, Mr. Curran spotted us from across the street....

Family Members,
I worked with Jim for many years in the
Department of Commerce. What a wonderful
guy and friend. I really don't know of anyone that
did not respect him or loved him. You always
knew he had a joke to tell always making you
laugh and brighten your day.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this
difficult time. Cherish the wonderful memories
you have made as a family.

I have lost another father who will always be in my heart. I loved spending time with him and the family. We would have great conversations and of course the many, many jokes.
When I was a child, I would call the house to talk to Denise and he would answer and tell me that he saw my wanted picture up at the post office. I would laugh and laugh.
As his memory changed and the twinkle in his eyes dimmed, I still enjoyed giving him hugs and kisses, knowing time was short.
