As I sign this book with a tear in my eye and an ache in my heart i'm reminded of a man who loved his wife and cilderen with all his heart.A smile comes to my face when i think of the great times our families shared and the joy he would get from interacting with his kids and their friends wheather it be playing whiffle ball in the back yard or at the beach in York.My prayers go out to you and your families.R.I.P. very sorry to hear about jim's passing.me and jimmy.started on the fire dept. the same day,and retired on the same day.i met him at eng#1 and we shook hands on our very last day.
i remember well all the good time we had living across the street from each other,and watching our kids play together while we played cards.
he was a great friend, and i will miss him.
our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family.

I am so sorry Jim has passed but know in my heart he was at peace. Mom and dad had a great New Years with you guys and could not tell me more how Jim was ok to "go" So glad he is in a healthier place with no pain. Sure I will see you soon (if not Tues) - mom still needs her York trips!
