Not sure what to say?

I just found Jim's obituary by accident while looking for another. My condolences to his family and pray that God continues to strengthen you daily. My fondest memory of Jim was of him walking into my department at AEL at least twice a week, stopping in front of my desk and asking, "Have you turned 18 yet? You can't get your secret clearance until you're 18!" Then he would smile and wink and walk away. He made turning 18 something special! So sad to hear of his passing. I will remember...

Dear Gloria & family,
So sorry to hear of your loss....our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless you and your family.

My condolences to the Daneker family. I worked at AEL in Engineering Dept for several yrs. in mid 60s. I played on the AEL baseball team after work and believe Jim did too. Fun times. Jim was so nice to be around. So sorry to hear the news. We live in AZ since late 70s. God Bless your family.

"Hey Dad! Son Matt here." That's what I always said when I called, and you'd respond, "Hey son Matt there." I sure will miss hearing you say that. I couldn't have asked for a better father; and my children couldn't have a better pop-pop. You were simply the best, and we will all miss you terribly. Someone wrote, "The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect." That's how we'll measure you, dad, with our undying love and respect. Thank you for everything. Fare well dad.

I am so sorry to hear about the Jim. He and my husband Andy played poker together. It was always a joy to see Jim in my house when it was Andy's turn to host. He will be missed dearly . Kathy Selheimer

Daddy always told us that "Marines never die, they go to heaven and re-group"....

My father, John Strunk, was a childhood friend of Jimmy's. He spoke of him often and their happy times of growing up together. My deepest sympathy to the entire Daneker Family.
