To Jim and family, Your dad was a quintessential "quiet rock." He graduated from high school, went in the service, came home, got married, raised a great family, and all the while, worked for the U.S. Postal Service. As I recall, he was a mailman up in the Woodland St. / Oakland Street - Federal Hill - that whole area - for decades and decades. I gotta believe there are tons of people in Bristol who remember Jim Danis as their postman....as I say....seemingly forever. What a good and solid...

James Danis who lived across the street from Bobby Wheeler and went to Mary A Callen was a classmate / friend who I will always remember because he was always a gentlemen!!
