Not sure what to say?

13 years later and I still miss Jim. Can't do much of anything on the '63 and not remember him. What I wouldn't give for his technical expertise on that ancient radar right about now. Rest in peace, Jim.

Jim was a colleague and friend and the world is a poorer place for his passing. However, he did exactly as he wished for as long as he could; how many of us can say that. We will miss him.

My Wonderful Uncle I will miss you, but I know that now you will never have any more pain and no more suffering. You are with Granny and Papw and they are so blessed to have you with them and someday soon we can all be together again.

I will always love you Uncle James and will forever miss you. We didn't see you very often, but I remember how excited we always got when you were coming home to visit. You were my mother's only brother and oh how she loved her phone calls from you, you were always there, if it was just to talk or just to check on her. We all loved you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

James was a wonderful person. We are all so saddened by his loss and will miss him tremendously. We were always so excited and glad to see him when he would come home to Alabama for a visit. And, when our Mother, Lillie Mae, had open heart surgery, he was a great help by his many words of encouragement (after having survived heart surgery himself). To us, he was always more than just a cousin. He has always held a special place in all of our hearts since we were small children growing...

Although I only knew Jim for a short time his quiet humor and technical competance quickly earned my respect. His catch-phrases and steadfast dedication will always be remembered by those he touched.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss.

I can't tell you how much he meant to us here at PAX, his humor and expertise got us through difficult times more than once. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.

To the Darnell family

I am saddened by the notice of Jim's Passing, he was and is an insperation. I cannot help with the loss I can only let you know that well all share your pain.

I also have a short story about Jim's ears, I once proclamed that he had never broken his nose, and Jim was amased that I knew this bit of personal history. I explained that I knew that he had not broken his nose because his ears would slow his fall so he allways had time to get his hands out to...
