Our condolences to the Darst/Vogler family. Our thoughts are with all of you.

Thoughts and prayers to the family of James Darst SR. There is no question that he had a great life and left behind a wonderful family. ox

My regrets that a great father, trial lawyer, judge has passed and we will no longer have his presence, wit, and talent around us. He was a real man of integrity and a true friend and mentor. I will miss him as we all will. See you at the Court Plaza in the heavens.

I knew Jim from his "other job" as a fighter jock with the 131st MOANG, where he flew with my Dad. Jim & Anne were frequent guests at our house during those days and both of them were an absolute hoot. The only good news is that he & Anne are together now. They both certainly lived very full life's.

My deepest condolences to the entire family.

I worked with Judge Darst at the Office of Hearings and Appeals for many years, when the office was first in Brentwood, and then through his retirement from the Creve Coeur Office. I remember how awestruck I always was that he could cite Social Security Disability regulations and rulings at the drop of a hat; he knew them like the back of his hand, when others had to stop and look up the appropriate reg. He was such a brillant man. I had great admiration for him. My deepest sympathy to...

James Darst was surely a wonderful man. His daughter, Juli, and her husband Mark are our dear neighbors. We extend our sympathy to the entire family. We are sending our thoughts, our prayers and our wish for peace and serenity to you Juli and to Mark. You are very special to us.

Dear Family of Jim Darst:

Jim was a great guy who loved his family and had lots of accomplishments. I only regret that I have not been able to have more contact with him, especially in more recent years. My condolences.

Our deepest sympathies on your loss, we will always cherish our memories of all the Darsts and Voglers. You are a great family.

My condolences to the entire Darst family in this difficult time. He was my Godfather --What a great man!
PS...while I was growing up, my Mom (Star) spent so much time at the Darst house seeing Judge & Mrs. Darst that I recall the phone number there even after 30 years from calling her home so many times!
