Not sure what to say?

Jim and I spent alot of time together here in Minnesota. I was lucky enough to have met Danny Reed as well. He talked a lot about his daughter Ilona in such a loving way it was obvious she was the main highlight in his life. Rest in peace good buddy!!

I'm saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Candy (Hooper) Parrish

The Dart Family has deep roots in Manley. I still remember seeing the Glady Dart School right next to the store. Sad to hear of Jim's passing.

He sounds like a great guy! Can anyone tell me what city he graduated in? I am the admin for the Pacific High School in San Bernardino, CA. and would like to add him if he went there. Condolences to his family and friends

Met Jimmy in the summer of 2003. He and I immediately became running buddies of sorts. His tales of yesterday´s long past in interior Alaska always painted vivid pictures in my mind. Jimmy became a confidant and best friend. When times were tough, Jimmy never hesitated to meet for coffee and lend an ear. He was a fantastic human being and truly was "his brother´s keeper". Peace to family and friends - I am a better man for having known and loved that bear of a man! Gods speed my brother....

I hauled Jim out if Manley hot springs to Fairbanks in the summer of 1968(I´m 82 might be wrong) in the back of my Piper Cub, he had a broken arm (I think) we had claims on bolder creek also. The Darts were always helpful. Terry Reece Colville WA

Jimmy was a brother in large group of friends of mine in Alaska. His infectious smile and laughter. I´ve been out of Alaska for ten years now. I came back this past November and was fortunate to get to see him and talk with him as well. Life can be cut short for some of us and he will be greatly missed. My love to you my brother. See you in the Great Meeting in the Sky.

He and I got sober the same year different months. He was a great friend and I'm grateful he was on the winning side. Heart of gold . Hey Big Jim did anyone ever tell you that you and Grizzly Adam's were twins. Lol
