DAVIS JAMES M. DAVIS beloved husband of 52yrs to Brenda (nee Cluckey); father of Jeffrey (Karen) and Gregory (Lori); grandfather of Tasha, Jacob, Matthew, Zachary, Steven and Elisabeth; great-grandfather of Victoria, Timothy, Natalie and Anthony; son of the late Burt and Alfreda (nee Schimkat); uncle and great uncle of many, passed away October 1, 2011. U.S. Navy and Army Veteran-Korea. Mr. Davis was the 1973 North Olmsted Citizen of the Year. Former President of the North Olmsted Jaycees and former chairman of the North Olmsted planning commission. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a Cub Scout leader and Youth Group leader at Christ the King Church. Mr. Davis retired in 1990 after 37 years with the DeVilbiss Company. Homecoming Service Monday October 10, Christ the King Church (30635 Lorain Rd. North Olmsted) at 10 A.M. WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICES. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Christ the King Mission Fund.
