Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to all the family. I met Jim when I stayed at The Brown Hotel and we became friends right away as the Buschemeyer Jewelers was at the hotel at the time. When I would come from Phoenix AZ to Louisville, Jim would pick me up at the airport. I will never forget how he met me at the airport with an umbrella ready for me as I came out of the doors from the airport when it was rainy, what a gentlemen you were. He would pick me up at Embassy Suites to have lunch and dinners on...

I just heard about Mr Davis today! He was such a remarkable "young" man! He was a very dear friend of my family, Betty & Cleo Neville. My dad also owned a jewelry store. Jim designed my family necklace for me & it is a remarkable & unique piece of jewelry! I'm so sadden to learn of his passing. He just enjoyed life to the fullest! Prayers for all!!

I grew up with Jimmy, Bennie & Pacie...they were my (relatives) from Bellfaire. My parents Ted and Leona Reiff were their (siblings). I stopped to see Jimmy with my husband John on our way back from Cinn. To Phx. We had a delightful several hours reminiscing about the Jewish Orphan Home. Jimmy remembered everyone's name. I am truly blessed to have know him. My deepest sympathy to the Davis family

I only met Jimmy a few times but he always impressed me as being very knowledgeable, charismatic and generous. I already miss him but his kind spirit will live on in the hearts of the many many persons he befriended, including myself.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for the loss of my friend, Jim Davis. He was truly a great man: funny, kind, and had the mind of a much younger person. The way he could recall things from several years past is remarkable! He was so strong: he would go to his chemo treatments and then come into work! I don't know anyone else that would (or could) do that! He will be greatly missed. I am a better person to have known him! I'm sure he and Benny are together again! I'll miss them...

Deepest sympathy to the Davis family.

"Goodie as known by older family members" Jimmy was gregarious and never met a stranger. He was a friend to all with his big smile and loved remembering and relating past experiences. He will be missed by many. Cousin Leanore and Stuart

The two Louisviile Legends in jewelry business are now happy together. Sincerest condolences from the Paine Family.

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, WE WILL TRULY MISS MR. DAVIS, HE WAS A KIND MAN. AMANDA K. FROM NORTON CANCER INST.

It always brought a smile to my face to see Mr. Davis around the Douglass Loop- what a dapper dresser and all around colorful man!
