Not sure what to say?

I had Mr. Davis as my Chorus teacher when I was at Cocoa Beach High School. He was so full of energy and sure got a bunch of young high school kids to sound pretty good! I am proud to have known him.

Mr Jim, our wonderful Southshore neighbor always full of smiles and chitchat. He shared his Camellia blooms with our young ones bringing delight into our home. Jake and I had missed you and Rochelle ever since your moving truck pulled away and yet our memories and fond stories still remain. Much Love from the McGrath tribe.

Jim was intelligent, insightful, genuine, authentic, insightful, upbeat, and cheerful and well informed. He loved music but also had a mind that grasped the wider world-- including politics and policy. Jim took seriously making contributions of his many gifts to his community. He was a inspiration to lead a good, full, happy life of service. I enjoyed conversations with him and Rochelle over the years.

Rochelle and Jim were a team as married partners that many of us learned from and...

I would like to offer you and your family our deepest and most sincere condolences and may the soul of James rest in peace.

As this candle gives light, so did James "light up our lives."

My heartfelt sympathies to Rochelle, Steven, and Suzanne. I have many happy memories of traveling to Europe with Jim and the group from Tallahassee on trips in the 1980's. As planner and leader of our group, Jim was always calm, upbeat, and good natured as he dealt with the unexpected/unforeseen Oh, no moments that can happen when traveling, including on one trip, a medical emergency for one member of our group. I also enjoyed singing in ensembles in the Trinity Choir under Jim's direction. I...

I first met Jim in the early seventies when my brother and I were singing in every chorus we could find! I loved his teaching methods and his personality. He taught me to breathe correctly. Once and a while we would run into each other and I always enjoyed catching up with him. I will miss him. My condolences to the family.

To The Davis Family: I don't know any of you but i wanted to extend my sympathy to you in the loss of your husband, father, grandfather. While I attended TCC I had Mr. Davis for a couple of classes. I also was in the chorus during my time there. It was one of my favorite classes and times spent at TCC. We performed in various places, including his church, around Tallahassee. He was very nice man and knew music very well. I remember during music history class on nice days he would...
