James Walter Davis Jr.

Walt was a great Marine, a superb Commander, and a good friend. We had many shared experiences that I will always remember fondly. Walt was a rock, always there for you. He is missed. Kathy and I keep Susan & Meredith in our prayers.

Walt Davis was one of the finest men I ever served with! He was a Commander that everyone admired and enjoyed! Our Corps was incredibly blessed by his long years of service! Our Nation has lost a true Hero and Patriot! GOD Bless You Brother!

Walt was one of those few men you meet who are a warrior and a scholar; whose intellect, integrity and morality are unmatched by even fewer. A true gentleman. I considered him a friend. He will be missed.

Walt was one of the best guys I knew. I loved his sense of humor, we were the two "old guys" of the 2d Div when we served together as BnCmdrs. He will be missed. Prayers for him and Susy
