Even from a distance, Jim was special and the yearly notes of his life and Marilyn's was so descriptive and fun to read. I am sorry to miss the funeral and touching base with the family. My best to each of them .

Jim and Marilyn have given decade after decade of their personnel and professional lives to so many families. They together held and gave the patchwork of building a great american community in the Colusa area.
Jim truly humbled me one night, way after hours, by saying "meet me at the store in 15 minutes and I`ll get your child taken care of."
We could all stand to remember this community treasure and his legacy.
God's mercies, grace and blessings to you Marilyn and the...

Rest in peace my Great Uncle Jim-- I will miss you and that wonderful laugh. Although I have not seen you as often in the last few years, I have many fond memories of our time together. In particular the summer I spent working at the drugstore. You taught me many things, some related to pharmacy, and some not. We shared many laughs and stories-

We were so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was always such a gentleman and a good friend. Our prayers are with Marilyn and the family. From the drug store, where he would sometimes make personal deliveries, to playing the piano at Rotary and Olde Tyme Christmas, he was a community man through and through.
He will be greatly missed.
