I can't help but shed some tears here in Oregon for you, Pam, and your lovely bunch. Jim was always joyful and enthusiastic at every family reunion and at my visit to South Haven July 4, 2014. I wish I could be with you all. What a great, consistent guy! I'm tending my own 65 year old gent and praying the best for us all. Extra hugs.

I feel blessed to have known Jim. An awesome man of God, a servant's heart, a great teacher in school and "on the court" who imparted not only knowledge but great wisdom too. Many fond memories and adventures together. He awaits us in heaven unencumbered.

Pam and Family:
We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Our family enjoyed the South Haven cottage for many years including the wonderful hospitality of Jim and Pam. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and as I noticed on so many FB posts, Jim lived "a life well lived" and was a true Christian.
Sincerely, The Bolson Family

To the family of Coach De Bruyn,

Coach played a significant role in the high school experience for all three of us. We are all honored to be part of his legacy at South Christian and were privileged to get to play for him. His dedication, enthusiasm, and support through some tough times will always be remembered. We pray that you find peace and know that he touched the lives of so many people and made a lasting impact on all of us.

With love and sympathy,
