Dan and I remember Jim's smiling face from the YMCA in Belmont. We worked out almost every morning for 10 plus years, prior to moving to Jenison in 2016, and would see Jim and Joy at the Y. We were impressed by his dedication to fitness, his strength, and his adventurous spirit .... It seemed like he always had that next scuba diving trip planned. We extend our sympathy to Joy and all of Jim's family and friends. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Nicest guy and best neighbor a person could ever have! Terribly saddened and shocked that such a strong and vibrant guy is gone too soon. Our deepest condolences to Joy and Krystle. Dan and Linda Heeringa
