I am deeply saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing and for your family's loss. I know the pain and grief you are feeling. I fel it too. As you know Jimmy was not only my best friend but he was also a brother to me. Through the years we kept in touch but not as much as we did back in our younger days when we were practically inseparable. I will cherish many happy memories I shared with him. I will miss him very much.

If you grew up in Greenville you had to know a Deegan. Jimmy went to Sacred Heart grammar school. He and Tom Butler, Jack Kerber, Tom Ruane, Bernie Gordon and I had many good times hanging out on Jackson and Ocean Ave.'s back in the 60's.
