What a good, fine man Jim was! As "snowbirds" from MIcigan, we met him at Palm Springs Presbyterian Church, where he was a stalwart pillar, as described, quietly taking care of so much behind the scenes, from unlocking doors to making the coffee to choir. To Gary and Dan, and the entire extended family: My husband and I were friends of Jim through the Presbyterian church of Palm Springs over the last 6 years. Jim was, as you know, a stalwart member who did everything possible for the church. He was the first in, to open up, and start coffee, before services (and I've seen his list of what to do on that, for instruction of others--it's two pages, single-spaced!) He always greeted us--and everyone--with the warmest of smiles and a big hug. ...

I knewm in Kent. I was a Sig Ep there. I don’t know if I knew him at Cuy Falls High. I graduated from Falls High in 1955. I had transferred from an Akron High School mid way through high school.
