Not sure what to say?

I was so blessed to have crossed paths with Jim in this life.I know very few people who have such a connection with God as Jim did. He had a wonderful soul.

Dear Delong Family,
What a beautiful service you had for your dad. The stories and the pictures will forever be planted in my heart. Both your parents were GREAT people and your dad lived a well loved life. Hugs to you all Deb, Kitty, Judy, Susie and Jimmy
The entire Biggs Clan Loved your dad and mom. Love, Bonnie Biggs Simpson

As a current staff member of the Council for the Homeless, I've heard stories of Mr. DeLong's compassion for the vulnerable in our community. His vision and gift for bringing others together for a common cause helped shape the work we and other service providers are able to do today.

Jim hired me in 1971 and we remained good friends through the years. He taught me many lessons about health care administration and more importantly how to treat people with humor, honesty and compassion. I will miss his friendship and wonderful stories. My sympathy goes to his family who loved him dearly.

Mr . DeLong was a gift to the community and to the Kaiser Permanente family . I have good memories of a Thanksgiving shared at his home with his wonderful family.
Love and prayers .

I joined the Kaiser Permanente family in 1970 and from the very beginning Jim was welcoming, helpful and a friend. His contribution to KP and the community will be remembered and missed.

Every body has one. I was Jim's hairdresser for over 15 years. He had the first Wednesday of every month at 2:00 sharp reserved with me a year in advance. I loved his jokes and his deep love for his family. He will be missed by all of us. The first Wednesday of every month at 2:00 sharp will never be the same. Love and sympathy to his great family.

There are so many stories about Jim DeLong if a person is lucky enough to grow up with employees from Kaiser Permanente as I was. What a character! The past few years, he was a valued friend and source of companionship, laughter, and comfort for my mother, Myrna Baker. They had a great time reminiscing about old times and creating new memories. Every time I talked to Jim, I became determined to bring more light and laughter to those around me. He is a true inspiration, and I am very...

He will always be Mr. DeLong to me. I knew him from Kaiser and he was so kind, nice and funny. I'll always remember him coming in for my baby shower and giving my daughter a yellow, hand knitted sweater, which I still have (she's 18-years-old). What a wonderful dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa.
