My sincere condolences to the DeRusha family. Mr. DeRusha was my English teacher at Rush-Henrietta Schools in 1980. I'd written a paper on a favorite activity--ham radio--explaining why it was important to me. To my surprise, when I received the paper back, he signed it with his own ham radio callsign, and that was the beginning of a special relationship between a teacher and student.
