Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. We met professionally playing for all the stars at the Salsbury Beach Frolics. Over the years we performed together in smaller groups and he was a natural jazz pianist with a very personal style always playing seriously, whether it was a wedding or a jazz venue. He always made reference to his "Pam". Pam, not sure you remember me but we met a couple of times at the Townsman. Jimmy was a wonderful fellow and will always be in my thoughts.

I remember Christmas Eve's at my parents' house in Framingham when I was a little girl. Everyone would always ask excitedly if Uncle Jimmy was coming. When is Uncle Jimmy going to get here? No one ever new exactly. When he would finally arrive, late, we would all be so happy and welcoming. He had the best smile and laugh. It was like sunshine. He used to come with a different girl every year until FINALLY he might THE girl, Aunty Pam. It was great! We would beg him to play Christmas...

Dear Jen,

So sorry about your Dad. We all loved him very much!

Dear Pam , I'm sad hearing of your Jimmy's passing. My love , thoughts and prayers are with you , Jimmy , your girls and Jimmy Jr. today. I visit young Jimmy's bench and pray and thank you for this and all your kindnesses. Peace and love to you Pam. Sincerely , Michael Dempsey

Our fondest times with James, Pamela and Rebecca were at Saint Paul Church in Wellesley. James was a man of great character and he reminded me of one of my brothers; the life of the party. The only time we heard him play was at his son's service at Saint Patrick's and I don't think there was a dry eye in the entire Church. James played from his heart that day and I'm certain his son heard every note. We are so proud to have known James and his family and we will never forget him.
