James William Deur

Jim was a lovely man. His stories were amazing and they are something I will never forget. Every time I walked in his room he would start singing me a song. At times we often danced around his room. I will remember him in my heart for a very long time.

I was his meals on wheels driver. I got the privilege of feeding him and hearing his stories everyday for a year. I also picked out his books from the library. He would tell me crazy things he had done. He would tell me a joke so dry I wouldn't know it was a joke. He was such a dear friend. He taught me that no matter how old you are don't ever stop living. Enjoy life. He was the best part of my day.
