JAMES GARY DEVALCOURT III, age 32, passed away on August 4th, 2015, after blessing many with his courage, love, and kindness, during his 13 years with us after his unfortunate accident on July 23, 2002. He is survived by his father James Gary DeValcourt, his mother Anisa St. Martin Haddad, his grandparents, James Gary DeValcourt Sr, Priscilla DeValcourt, his sisters Aimee DeValcourt and Ariana Haddad, his step-father Sammy Haddad, step-mother Kristie DeValcourt, as well as his step siblings, Reem Haddad, Hamsa Haddad, Alexis Arnold, Christian Lacy, his brother-in-law Corey Schiffer, his niece Talia Schiffer, step nephew Cade Morris, uncle Kim DeValcourt, and aunts, Wendy DeValcourt, and Sherryl Huber. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Herman St. Martin and Beverly St. Martin. James DeValcourt was a life-long resident of Slidell, LA. He graduated from Northshore High School, was a member of the wrestling team, and attended Southeastern University in Hammond. He loved being around his beloved family and friends, and he most enjoyed doing anything to make anyone smile.
James?s funeral service will take place Saturday, August 8th, 2015 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church; 910 Crossgates Blvd. Slidell, LA. 70461. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM with services to follow. In remembrance of James, please make any flower donations to St. Luke Catholic Church.
