Not sure what to say?

Jim and I were stationed together in Germany after Vietnam. We flew together and became fast friends. We were both into motorcycles and bought the very first of the CB-750 Hondas. So sad that he's gone so soon. Jim in our quarters in Katterbach, Germany.

I grew up with you from elementary through high school we graduated together, then you joined the Army and I joined the Air Force. Missed seeing you at our 50th reunion. Then was saddened by hearing of your passing. Now you are with your father.

Jim was always ready for action and one hell of a chopper pilot. See you on the other side.
Tailwinds, Brother!

I still recall how impressed I was by Jim's resume when it came across the desk and I was working Ops at the State Aviation Office for COL Flockhart, covering for Norm Van Dyke and away from my regular job at AASF-Sac Flight Instructor position. Jim cut an impressive figure but was always approachable and compassionate. He'll be missed...as we take our respective turns crossing to that other shore. RIP Jim!

Jim, keep the machine at Flight Idle till the rest of us get there. We can all ride into the Sunset together.

I served with Major Devito as a cadet in ROTC while at the 40th Aviation Brigade. Here is what I remember of him. Classy. Distinguished. Sharp. Good looking. Professional. An Aviator. R.I.P. Sir!

You, were always only a Phone call away! I will keep you ln My heart and Prayers, forever!

I did not know you personally, but I served 20 years in Special Forces (Green Berets). I have 2 tours in Vietnam. Maybe our paths crossed. Thank you for your Distinguished Service. Rest in Peace Warrior!!!

"Older than Me"..You will be in my heart forever my "big brother" Will cherish our talks and all your advice the rest of my life. You ALWAYS put all of us before you even up to the end. Give my Dad (your Godfather) and Pops (my Godfather) a big hug from me. We will see each other again and that I am sure. Love you
