James P. Devlin

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Devlin. He was a very kind man and will be missed.

Hi Mrs Devlin: I lived on the same floor as Jim for two years when we attended Lock Haven State College. I just heard about Jim's passing in the last issue of our alumni magazie. Needless to say I was shocked!! I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I remember Jim as a great guy and also remember his love for sports!

Jimmy and I were classmates at BHS and even though I haven't seen him in a long time, I will never forget his friendship, humor, and great personality. I first met Jimmy when we played Little League baseball for the Milesburg Lions. Even though I was somewhat of a nerd through high school, Jimmy always treated me a friend and made me feel like one of the gang. I am sorry for your loss. I only got to know Mr. Devlin within the last year when I met him at an interview. Little did I know our history went back to the days when he was a coach in Bellefonte and I a football player from Huntingdon.
