Hi Mrs Devlin: I lived on the same floor as Jim for two years when we attended Lock Haven State College. I just heard about Jim's passing in the last issue of our alumni magazie. Needless to say I was shocked!! I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I remember Jim as a great guy and also remember his love for sports!

Dearest Gracie and Family,
It has been years since we have been in touch, but I have such wonderful memories of Jimmy as a young man and of the two of you as a young couple. He was a very special person who had an unusual ability to work with and positively influence the lives of students. Duffy and Doug (my sons) were just little boys when you all left Bellefonte, but I especially appreciated the time Jimmy always took to make them feel special. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. ...

To the Devlin family,
Jimmy and I were classmates at BHS and even though I haven't seen him in a long time, I will never forget his friendship, humor, and great personality. I first met Jimmy when we played Little League baseball for the Milesburg Lions. Even though I was somewhat of a nerd through high school, Jimmy always treated me a friend and made me feel like one of the gang. I will never forget all the good times we had playing basketball, hanging out at the "Y" and arguing over...

To the Devlin family:
I am sorry for your loss. I only got to know Mr. Devlin within the last year when I met him at an interview. Little did I know our history went back to the days when he was a coach in Bellefonte and I a football player from Huntingdon. Recently, he helped me in my professional career and I will never forget him for that. Mr. Devlin, thanks and God Bless.

Dear Devlin Family,
On behalf of my entire family, I want to offer our sincere condolences. Casey, Curtis, and I all benefited from Jim's strong leadership and even stronger example. He held high expectations for his students and clearly demonstrated how to reach those expectations through his own dedication and enthusiasm. My parents knew him for years as a loving father and effective educator. He impacted so many people not because of his position, but because of who he was. I know...
