Dear Mrs. Joyce Devoe and family,

On behalf of USS Nautilus SSN571 shipmates and their families, please accept sincere condolences for the loss of your dear James. Jim's guest book tells a story of a wonderful life with close friends and a family who loved him dearly. Jim's departure on Eternal Patrol will be shared with his shipmates and recorded in the log at the Nautilus Alumni website. May our Lord bless and console you during this time of sorrow.

Joyce. I didn't know you all that well in High School, but I knew who you were. But I knew Jimmy very well from the very early days as kids in grade school. Life happens and we all move on. But tonight I attended the WHS '72 45th reunion and Debbie Luke told me that Jimmy had passed.
