Not sure what to say?

The entire DeVore family were treasured friends. I know Jim sure enjoyed good old Southern Gospel Music and he is able to enjoy it anytime, anywhere, forever. God Bless all lives he touched.

Chuck is happy to have him there with him.

A truly great man who I will sorely miss every 4th of July. He was a bright light throughout my childhood.

I remember Jim well in the 70's at Northeast. He was a darn good cop and one of the good guys. He will be remembered by all who knew him. God bless.

Jim was A good Policeman.

To the Family of Jim: Jim was one of the kindest, most gentle, humble and positive officers I ever worked around. He treated eveyone as a gentlelman should. This is the best "change-over" party Jim could ever receive and to God be the Glory. May God comfort the family in knowing where Jim will be waiting for those who know Him.

Jim was a joy to be around. I remember best his great wit and ready smile. He was a good, honest cop and he will be missed.

Jim, you were a good cop. I always enjoyed working in the 220's with you. RIP, my brother.

Jim, you will be missed by many active and retired officers. My prayers go out to your family at their time of sorrow.

A good officer and great friend to many. RIP
