Jim , I'm Going to Miss You !! Had Some Great Times At Indian Creek & Solved Some Problems Along The Way !! God Bless And keep You !!! See You On The Other Side , Treasured Friend !!

Jim is truly an American Hero. I cherish the goodness and enthusiasm he brought to all the many activities at Indian Creek. He willingly and freely gave of his time, energy and ideas especially for the veterans of our community . We also cherish the warm and enduring friendship we were blessed to have with Jim and Roberta. Thank you, Jim, for your heroic service to our country. We will always keep you in our hearts.

I remember Jim teaching me the ins and outs of Amway when I first started. His help in this and computer systems got me off and running. John Timmerwilke

It was definitely an honor & privilege to know and to work for Jim at Amway, back in the early to mid 1980´s, when he was Manager of Distributor Services. I worked under him as an International Coordinator, until he offered me the position of being his secretary. My life changed because of him and the faith he had in me. Jim truly was a man of integrity, showed kindness to all in so many ways (I think I might even have a few of his handwritten "encouraging" notes yet), and was respected and...

I had the pleasure of knowing Jim in high school where he was known as a very kind, friendly and highly intelligent guy, and conversing with him at our many reunions and pizza parties. Jim will long be remembered for his service to his country; service that continues to make an impact on the world. I'm overwhelmed with saddness to hear of his passing. My thoughts, prayers and sympathy to Roberta, his children and grandchildren. May your memories, and those of others sustain you through the...

Jim is a true American Hero and his story is worth the read. The best thing I ever did was reunite Jim with his rescuer (Sgt. Lorenzo "Tony" Willis) when I was the USSOCOM Command Surgeon and had Jim as our guest speaker at our Special Operations Medical Conference years ago. Jim's rescue was filmed back in the day, and few people realize how that film has been used to train USAF Pararescue warriors since. I am honored to have know him this past 62 years. Roberta and family, my deepest...
