Not sure what to say?

It has been almost a year now and it is still difficult to believe he is gone. I met Jim when I was hired by Howmet in 1967. He was a Sr. engineer and I was low man in a group of about 15, from the 1st day he was the only one that helped me. When that unit was shut down we where separated but remained close friends and he continued to treat me like the brother I never had.

I have known Jim since I was a young kid at Westwood Reformed church. My parents loved and respected him. I looked up to him as a very patient level headed member of the church. He always had a smile and was so friendly that any one who spoke to him felt at home. I know he will be greatly missed by friends and family. Kay, may your children and family surround you with love and care in the coming days.

Eleven years ago I moved into Harbour Town and had a surprise greeting from Jim, a friend from our high school days and now my neighbor. He made me feel at home with his friendly greetings an conversations. Certainly a loss from my life and our neighborhood. Blessings Kay.

I´ve had the privilege to live next door to Jim (and Kay :) for the past 8 years and I couldn´t have asked for better neighbors. It has been a privledge and an honor to know you both and I´ll be forever grateful that I was blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for being my next door grandparents. Love always, Laura

Jim was the best brother a girl could have ever asked for. So many memories. I love you Jim. You are now with Jesus and family that went before you. You will be missed. Your sister Lois DeMarr
