Read MoreDr. Dewberry did a root canal or two for me in his little house-office on Oak Lawn Avenue. He worked without staff at the time, and I found him mowing the yard on one visit. I believe that visit was interrupted by his telephone conversations about horses. He whistled a lot while he worked, but it did not diminish the quality of the result.
