James Mills Dickey III

Dickey, James Mills III Born 1939 in San Mateo CA, devoted husband, loving father, grand- father, brother and uncle, died on the 27th of November, after struggling for a year and a half with prostate cancer. He will be sorely missed by his family, colleagues and friends. He was most recently engaged in teaching and research as a Professor of Theoretical Statistics at the University of Minnesota, and in the past, was similarly employed at Yale University; State University of New York at Albany; University of Southern California; State University of New York at Buffalo; University College London and University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. Prof. Dickey was named Fellow of the American Statistical Association and Fellow of the American Statistical Society. He was also a member of the Royal Statistical Society, UK. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders. Celebration of Life 2 PM Saturday at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 36th & Hennepin Ave S.
