I have a lot of fond memories of Jim. I remember him from high school days. I remember visiting with him at his sweet mama's funeral, and of course, our many chats online. We were on the same political page. He was a good guy and was not afraid to tell you what his views were. Miss you Jim. May God bless you and your sweet family.

My husband Randy and I were lucky enough to meet Jim and Val many years ago and thanks to their generousity and friendship we enjoyed years of family vacations at their condo on Bear Lake. We have photo albums filled with pictures of our family enjoying one of our favorite memory making destinations. I always felt so lucky to be counted as one of Jim and Val's friends. Jim's voice was loud and boisterous but warm and happy, he always made you feel like he was happy to see or speak to you....

Jim was a sweetheart, he loved life and he loved my cousin Valerie. He always had a smile on his face from College days when I first met him to just recently. We all thought the world of Jim and was shocked to hear of his passing at such a young age. He is in heaven now directing traffic. He always was a "take charge" guy with definite opinions. We loved him and will shall miss him. Our deepest condolences go to Val & her family. Sending heartfelt love to all.

This breaks my heart. I’ve had some good conversations with Jim. He was a great debater for sure. Even though he was very opinionated, he was always very complimentary and tried not to offend while arguing his point. I never let him defeat me. You will be missed Jim. Praying for your family to find peace and comfort at this sad time.
