Not sure what to say?

James was in his 30s stationed at Hellenikon AB Athens with his family. They would often give rides to us. We all were in our early 20s. Have you ever met a person so smart that you could have a peaceful conversation about attitudes and actions regarding conduct and attitude toward families of color? We had those conversations that just rolled off our tongues. Sensitive concepts and ideas that I remember to this day. Respectful and kind also savvy. I had a chance greeting in early...

1976 we met, 6916th Hellenikon. I was soooo green and filled with hope. I was in awe of you, SuperOp. You sweet wife and family always giving me rides . We met again about 20 years later in the halls of NSA. You continued to involve yourself in many remarkable projects. A family man, funny guy, SNCO and friend. I still look up to you and always will. With deep respect SMSgt (Ret) John Windham

And less of me
Bind me closer
Lord to Thee
Blot out all
My iniquities

The three of us were in a huddle hugging, crying, and wiping the tears from our faces. When I wiped the tears from your face Sister Dillingham, you fell on your husband and said "I Love You". What a blessed event to have taken place on the last time he would worship with his church family. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

My sincere condolences to the family. I was privileged and honored to serve with James in the United States Air Force Security Service. I remember him as one of the finest airborne special signals operators in the command. This is a sad time. May God bless the family.

Sister Dillingham,
Having lost my Husband in November, I can honestly say I know how you are feeling. Be comforted in the knowledge that God is in control and He knows how much we can bear. Rest assured that He will see you through this trial and ease your pain with the memories you hold dear. Your faith and love of the Lord will sustain you. There will be a brighter day. Minister Dillingham brought joy with him and infected everyone with whom he came in contact. He left his mark in...

So, sorry to hear of your loss. I really enjoyed Mr. Dillingham's uplifting conversations whenever he stopped by the bowling alley.

May the God of peace give you comfort in your time of sorrow.
