Our deepest sympathies to Jim's family and friends. We were classmates and a teammate of Jim's at Kelvyn Park High School. A great basketball player, student and above all, good person. He was taken much too soon. We will keep Jim and you in our thoughts and prayers.

To the DiMatteo Family: Jimmy was a great person who was taken much too soon, his smile and grace will be missed by many, But the Dimatteo Family has strong values and will survive his passing, God Bless all of you and stay united. Remember there is strength in numbers.

My deepest condolences go out to all the members of the DiMatteo Family. I did not get to know Jim well while our paths crossed at Carquest, but it was always a pleasure to talk with him. He was one who always was in a good mood and made you happy to converse with him. My family and my prayers will be with your family for your terrible loss.

Dearest DiMatteo Family,
How sorry we were to hear of Jimmy's passing. Always remembered the times going to DiMatteo Brothers Auto Supply with Lisa and seeing him always smiling! What a wonderful, welcoming and caring person always! I could see from the beautiful church service how he was loved by all! He will surely be missed. Here is a little poem that came to my mind after I found out about Jimmy last night: "Start spreading the news..I'm leaving today. This was not my plan, it...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
