Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Dimmer, Jimmy and Katie:

Justin and I did not of learn of Mr. Jim’s passing until April 24th. Needless to say, we are both deeply saddened. No words can sufficiently express how much appreciation I have for all that Mr. Jim and each of you did for Justin and me during Justin’s eight years at OLQP. We had a lot of tough days, and Mr. Jim was always a ray of sunshine, hope, and encouragement for us. His positive attitude, smiling face and seemingly endless amount of...

To the 'Dimmers' from the 'Dumers',
Jim’s passing makes us ALL so sad. What a wonderful man. All of our girls 'grew-up' with all of you, 18 years, and were the stability in our/their OLQP years. Much love and wishes for strength to you all! He was truly an inspiration to how to live life with a positive outlook and even now leaves such a strong impression to forming the lives of the children! ALL of you are truly the personification of GOOD Christians!!

Dear Val, Jimmy, and Katie,
I am so glad OLQP people still keep me "in the loop". I could not have imagined missing Jim's memorial service. I really miss my OLQP family, and I have such great memories of my experiences there. Jim was such an asset to that school. My best memories of him involve him complimenting me on the projects I would do with the students. Those comments pulled me through days when I didn't know if what I was doing was making an impact. He made me feel special,...

To the Dimmer Family, I share your loss, I worked with Jimmy in the Western District. From 1973-1980. He was a good friend and great co-worker. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Mrs. Dimmer, Jimmy, and Katie, We're so sorry to hear about Mr. Jim. He was certainly the nicest and most helpful man we have ever met. We always felt that our kids were safe and in the best of hands because of Mr. Jim and all of you. You are in our prayers. Love, Donna, Fran, Matthew and Monica Harker

Dear Val, Jimmy and Katie,
We thought of you and prayed for you all every day. We missed you so much. It isn't very often that you meet a person like Jim, who made you feel like he'd take care of "it", like everything would be alright, that you could rely on him. Nicholas and Kaitlyn believed that Mr. Jim could do anything and he was the first person they thought of when they needed help or a cheerleader. He was my biggest cheerleader at Queen of Peace and we "fixed the world" many...

Dear Val, Jimmy and Katie,
When you come across such good and kind people, it is no wonder that we feel the pain that you have experienced. We will never forget the OLQP family and how much your entire family made each day a fun day. Natalie and Katerina remember their first day of school being walked in by Mr. Jim. We have Katerina on video and how Mr. Jim waited patiently while their father was taping her getting out of the car. We loved him in his Hawaiian shirts each day. He...

Dear Dimmer Family, I served with Jim briefly in the Western District where I worked from 1979 to 1991, until I left for the Southwestern District. He was a great guy, and a good police officer. He had a great sense of humor and it was always enjoyable to work with him. He faithfully served the people of Baltimore. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Val, Jimmy & Katie:
We can't tell you how saddened we were to learned of Jim's passing. We have known all of you a long time and have always thought of all of you as our extended family. Hannah actually thought up until a few years ago, that you and Jim were there when she was born! I remember all of the kind things Jim did for us...and the obvious soft place he had for Hannah.Jim was always there during bookfair time when Hannah would tell him how much she liked this or that, Jim made...
