Jim was a one of a kind man and I was fortunate enough to know him and learn from him. his tales of travel and life experiences made time stand still while you were in his presence. from Berlioz to Shakespeare he was a man of varied and impeccable taste. I will miss you greatly my friend.

March 2015

I was Blessed to visit Uncle James in the last few days of my March 2015 Prayer Trip around the country. He asked me when I was leaving Cleveland and I told him not until I see you! He was still actively going into his office and was happy to show me around. A very successful business and impressive career. He truly added significance to our Family Legacy.

James Dingus exuded class and grace in his 99 years as a renaissance man. Uncle James enjoyed the beauty of music, art and horticulture in ways that defined his discerning eye. He was a maverick in his field, founding his CPA practice as a sole proprietorship in 1954. Despite many challenges in the early years, James persevered,"always providing his growing client mix with high quality services." He epitomized the highest in ethical standards in his personal and professional life.

Jim and I were neighbors and close friends during the time I lived In One Bratenahl Place in Bratenahl. I regret that we lost touch after I moved. Jim was indeed a true gentleman and without a doubt one of the finest human beings I have ever known. Rest in peace, dear Jim
