Sue and Mike,
I am so sad at learning the news of your son Jimmy. A tragedy that no parent could ever imagine unless they go through it. Karen and I pray for you, Sue and your family. You have wonderful memories of your son and in the end, what we all have is memories of our loved ones. Please accept our deepest condolences and may God rest his soul.

Heard just a few minutes ago of your loss. Mrs. Wacker, 10th grade English taught Wordsworth's SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS and the words have always remained with me, "--we will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind."
Life does not prepare us for the death of a child so hopefully your memories will assist you through these difficult times.
You are, and will remain in our thoughts.

I taught Jimmy last semester in Biology 1101 at Georgia Gwinnett College. I enjoyed having him in class. I will miss seeing him on campus. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time.

Sue and family, I am so sorry for your loss of sweet precious Jimmy. Know you are in my thoughts and my heart is broken for you. I will share a poem that was shared with me and I cherish it:

Well we know how deep that pang goes,
We who have suffered that disaster,
Received that wound which cannot heal….
It is one of the...

Justin Wallace, my son, shared a friendhsip with Jimmy. Justin is deployed in the sea of the Middle East at this time. He learned of the tragic news yesterday and he is very very sad. As his mother and in honor of their friendship I will be attending the funeral. I am so sorry for all the family and friends that are grieving such a loss.
