I served under dix in the army he was great man he taught me so much we rode to work together
almost everyday. we were good if not best freinds when off duty. I was here online trying to find him, only to be shocked to find out he had passed a few years ago. I can't express how sad and the feeling of loss I'm having now. Even tho its been over 30 years since seeing him it feels like yesterday.

Greetings,
I decided to google my own name, James W. Dix and found James' obituary. I'm sorry to learn of your loss. My name is also James Dix,from Indiana. I wish there was a way to get the entire Dix family together so we could understand the family connections.

To the Dix Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Though I didn't know James, I feel somewhat connected to him because Dix is my Mother's maiden name. And, since I don't see the name often, I can't help but feel a kinship with him. Whether or not we are related, the circumstances of his death really touched me. He seemed like a very loving and strong man. May God bless your family with the knowledge that James is singing (and apparently cooking) with his host of angels while looking down on you...

Marilyn and all the Dix family; words can never express the sympathy heartfelt here. I worked with James at Sammy and Nick's and he was always a source of fun in a hectic work environment. I met my soulmate while there (Roxanne), he would always rib me while we were "dating". Roxanne and I would like to offer our heartfelt condolences. We couldn't believe the news of how he passed. Once again so very sorry and may God be with you and yours.

To Marilyn and the Dix Family,
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. May God comfort you all during this time of bereavement. John 14:1-3 - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
