James Elliot Doescher

Jim was a good friend from our St. Regis days. We first met in Jacksonville, but worked much more closely together in Pensacola. I suppose Jim had "down" days like others, but none were ever apparent to me. He was always upbeat, humorous, and serious when appropriate. My goodness, he had such good stories and told them so well. I still have some hunting articles (scope, vest, etc.) bought when Jim and I were shopping together in 1984. I still tell folks, "Doescher talked me into buying this....

Commendations on your distinguished service in the Vietnam War. May God's healing hands touch hurting hearts during this time of deep sorrow. May the peace of the Holy Spirit comfort the Doescher family as they pay tribute to the life, love, and legacy LT Jim Doescher leaves behind.
