Erika - I first met Jim in New York in the mid - seventies and then had the good fortune to work for him in New Jersey in the late eighties. Of all the qualities he possessed - his intellect, his optimism, his curiosity, his humor - I think his basic humanity is what I will remember most. What good fortune I had in my life to have known Jim. My sympathies at your loss.

We have been friends with Jim and Erika for a long time. From the moment you met Jim, you couldn't help but be inspired by Jim's incredible optimism and enthusiasm for life. His glass was always half full - never half empty. Jim always saw the positive in things rather than any negative.

We have shared many good times with Jim and Erika - be it in Vegas, Florida, Long Island and countless times in Texas.

Those Irish eyes of Jim's were always smiling! He will be so missed,...

Dearest Erika,
Jim was a wonderful person - who brought grace and humor into the lives of so many. We were blessed to have known him. Our prays and thoughts are with you and your family.
love,
Mary and Stephen Dakin

Jim and Family,
