I worked with Jim for almost 10 years at UTC. We frequently walked to together at lunch and interacted throughout the work-day. In all my years I've rarely meet such a kind person. So compassionate and with a GREAT respect for life and understanding of other's challenges and struggles.
I grew to love Jim as a friend and often think of him. His sense of humor and kind hearted teasing always kept me smiling, even in the toughest of times. I still smile and chuckle to myself as I can...

Jim and I fished together in Rhode Island and he generously gave silver coins to my children. Being out of the country during his death I was unable to attend his...

I met Jim in the early 90's at Hamilton Standard. I was selling Structural Analysis software for SDRC. At the time Jim and the rest of the Hamilton analysis group were using our software. The many times I talked with Jim I found him to be a friend, always with a wry sense of humor. Over the years I knew Jim, and the impression he left on me I mourn his passing and wish him the best in his journey.
