To the entire Donovan family, I offer my deepest condolences. How sorry I was to hear this sad news today. Mr. Donovan was my principal at Harrison Avenue School in the mid-70s and early 80s. I remember him fondly as a kind and caring educator; after 13 years in the Harrison school district, I still consider him my favorite school principal. He certainly is the one I recall most fondly.

No kinder or more generous man. Will always have fond memories of dinners with Jim and Pat at Tramonto's or at Kendal; hearing stories of their international travels together. Our loss, but they are together again.
