JAMES A. SR., August 15, 2011,
beloved husband of 56 years to Regina "Jean" (nee Fleming); devoted father of James A. Jr. (Kate), Lynn McCarthy (Bob), Michael, Maria McCleary (Rich); also survived by 9 grandchildren. Relatives, friends, and members of the League of Sacred Heart and Local 22 are invited to his Viewing Thursday Eve. 7 to 9 P.M. and also Friday 8:30 to 9:15 A.M. BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (so. of Grant Ave.) followed by his Funeral Mass 10 A.M. St. Matthew Church (upper church). Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Matthew Church, 3000 Cottman Ave. Phila, PA 19149 or the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Rd., Phila, PA 19111 in his memory would be appreciated.

Hi Dad... life has been so difficult for us the past three weeks for so many reasons. WE miss you beyond words.I planned earlier today to go to PPH to feed you dinner and then realized... my labor of love is now completed. We need you to look down on us and care for us.
