Read MoreCyndi, I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I don't know whether you remember me but I remember the both of you taking me in when I first came to Corvallis to start work at the Good Samaritan Hospital in May of 1980. You helped me find a place in Philomath so I could bring my family out from Ontario. It was a wonderful thing you two did for someone you didn't know. My condolences.

Jim was my seventh grade wrestling coach at Highland View JHS (1971-72 school year). I remember him as an easygoing guy!
