Not sure what to say?

Dad, You were truly bigger than life and brought joy to so many. Especially your granddaughter Alexandrea. You had the most precious way of making her feel seen and heard. Thank you for loving her so perfectly. And thank you for loving me. You are missed more than you know. Merry Christmas Dad!!! I LoVe you. Amanda

Graduated from Wil-Hi with Jim in 1961. Always a great guy, great sense of humor, and friends with everyone. Have enjoyed seeing him at reunions over the years and listening to his tales. Going fishing on the 24th with Bob Mikkelsen, Dave Creasey, Leon Smith, Frank Price, Jack Prociew, Russ Cron. All from the class of 61..we'll raise a glass to Jim! So sorry for your loss.

What an entertainer and story teller. Jim who lived in Maui for several years was indeed "bigger than life" and well known throughout West Maui. To this day his name is well recognized and remembered as a wonderful and giving person to all that were fortunate to have the chance to met him. The management at the Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali have yet to
recover from his tenure there

I have thought of Jim so many times in the years since our 1961 graduation from Willamette High in Eugene. Jim was such a joy to around, friendly to all he encountered. I remember, very vividly, helping Jim in his campaign for Student Body President, and rejoiced with him when he won. Jim will sorely be missed by all that knew him, and I for one, will miss him dearly. Rest in Peace my dear friend, and may God be with your family during this time of sorrow

You are missed. Love you!

We are sorry to hear about Jim's passing. He was a friend of our family and will be missed. We are unable to attend the service and know that it will be a wonderful celebration of his life.

James, you will always always be in my heart. I loved you so much.

We feel so fortunate we were able to see Jim and tell him good-by and so sad when we heard he had passed. We loved Jim and have many stories to tell but will not be able to attend the service. Jim is probably entertaining in heaven. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Please know that we are praying for all of you but also that Jim is now healed.
