Not sure what to say?

Although I only knew Jim for a short time, I knew right away that he was a very special person. Jim actually lived my dreams. My greatest regret is that I was not able to spend more time getting to know him better. His family are the most wonderful people I have ever met in my 65 years on this earth. God Bless you all I am so proud to know all of you.

Jim was quite a guy with special attributes of kindness, honesty, and fairness. He had an interest in sports, airplanes and yearned to see his son Chad, a merchant marine. He will be missed by family and friends. We went to Rutgers football games as we both attended college there. Jim was honorable and charismatic! Until we meet again, your friend, Sy Barlaz

My beloved brother Jim was such an Amazing Man and will be forever missed. Since we lost our father at. Young age Jim took on the father role for both me and my sister Laura. He also helped my mom in so many ways and when he was in college he told her that one day he wanted to buy her a house. Kind, Loving, Caring, Hard Working, Generous, Quiet, Honest, Intelligent, Handsome and Humble a true Officer and Gentleman. I was always so proud and blessed to be his little sister . Shine on my...

When he was nineteen he told my mom that someday he wanted to buy her a house. Jim was kind, loving, honest, caring, hard working, quiet, generous, extremely intelligent and so handsome. You were my EVERYTHING and most HONEST, SINCERE and HANDSOME man that I have met in my 59 years of life! If it was not for you, I would have never completed my BSN in nursing, You truly accomplished things, like flying a 747 airplane and been the HEAD of the Eastern airlines pilots association and most of all you functioned as a FATHER figure to teach me the true values of an HONEST man with dignity, courage, and charisma! I LOVE and MISS you, brother! Until we meet in heaven with Jay, our...

We loved you Jimmy and have always prayed for you. May you now find peace with the Lord and watch over us. Uncle Ed and Aunt Fran

My heartfelt sympathy...

Feeling the deep loss of James...A gentle, quiet, respectful gentleman. One I never had the pleasure of personally getting to know.

I feel empty and, in a way, cheated. I guess this is because I did know James. I knew James...I knew James in spirit. The spirit of my cherished friend, Laura, his caring, loving and devoted sister - who never, for one moment, stopped loving and supporting him.

Dear Jimmy,

I know you are now in Heaven. Free of...

I went thru Naval AOCS (Class 25-70) in Pensacola and Flight Training with Jim back in 1970-1971. In fact, he was my best man at my wedding in July 1971 in Milton, FL near Whiting Field. I tried to get in touch with him over the years, but could never locate him. It was a pleasure knowing him and I am sure that he will be missed by all.
