I will miss Mr. Dougherty's quiet, gentle spirit and incredible work ethic and devotion to his family, especially his Rose. I will also miss his typewriter-like handwriting, the intricately drawn illustrations for house repairs for workmen doing any work at his house on Overbrook Road, and the map for getting to my wedding reception. Priceless! Thank you, Mr. Dougherty.
P.S. He was an environmentalist before it was a thing; I still remember all of those bags of tin cans and glass...
