I lived across from Jim and like everyone who knew him he was that person you were always glad to see. His passing had a profound hurt on my heart . I always enjoyed our chats as we did our yardwork. Jim was always so pleasant and happy. He will be missed in our neighborhood. I want to send Maria and Jim's family and close friends my deepest sympathy.

I met Jim through my two friends (Matt & Bill). I quickly realized what a great guy Jim was. He was always upbeat. Always had a nice thing to say. Actually 'asked' you how you're doing and was genuinely interested in what you had to say. I will really miss Jim a lot. Jimmy Doc was one of my best friends from the time I met him in 7th grade. After baseball practice, we would walk along the railroad tracks towards our homes and solved the world's problems (which meant talking about girls).
