DOUGLAS, James E. - Of Grand Blanc, formerly of Clarkston, January 14, 2009, age 72. Loving husband of Joanie; dear father of Art (Pat) Douglas of Clarkston, Mark Douglas of Holly, Debbie (Mike) Onyon of IN, Cindy (Tim) Ball of OH, the late Ronnie Warden, Kim (Adam) Pfeffer of Sparta and Pam (Chris) Rose of S. Lyon; Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grand-children; brother of Clarence (Joyce) Douglas of OK; son-in-law of Janie Campbell of MD; brother-in-law of Billy McCauley of MD; survived by special family members: Sue Douglas and Kirk Thompson. He owned and operated Jim Douglas Auto Sales, Inc., Pontiac for 33 years. Jim was a member of Atlas Valley Country Club and The Point (Goodrich)/Faith Church. Friends may visit the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday 3-6 PM and Thursday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Celebration of Life Service Friday 11 AM at Faith Church, Waterford. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. Gary and I were deeply saddened with the news of JD's passing. He was well respected and loved by many. We will forever be grateful for all the wonderful things he has done for ourselves as well as our family. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My mom called me and told me of Jim’s passing. I’m so sorry for all of you. Jim was always such a funny, kind, loving man. I'm sure you will miss him very much.
